When I was 17 my parents signed all the papers and I joined the Marine Corps, and was in the Delayed Entry Program. About 5 months in I got arrested for 2 counts of theft of vehicle, and felony escape. I also had to go to drug rehab. Needless to say, I was discharged. My recruited sent me a letter and some paperwork on my separation, and reenlistment code "RE-3D". So all of those crimes are sealed, a national guard recruiter ran a background check on me once, and nothing came back.
So a few years have gone by, and in that time I have accumulated some minor traffic tickets like no insurance. I have also had 3 tickets for driving on suspended (dl was suspended for failure to provide proof of insurance) I have also racked up a drug D.W.I., and recently a felony charge for possession of hydrocodone, a Class C felony, it was possession with intent to deliver, that was dropped and changed to possession(however this charge may be reduced to a misdemeanor).
Now my question is, if I get everything straightened out, get my dl back, and can meet the physical requirements, will I be able to enlist into the Marine Corps, and if that would be impossible is there a chance the Army would let me join?
