I've seen Hellsing and Champloo, those seem like the two most obvious choices.

While he doesn't go fuckin' people's shit up, Kanta from Desert Punk is by no means some valiant knight. But I don't think that's what you're looking for. Black Lagoon comes to mind, since Revy can be a psychobitch, but Rock is kinda a pussy and none of the crew is really 'evil'.

Those were the closest two I can think of anyway. In the sense that the main character(s) isn't/aren't running around trying to save anything or anybody but themselves.
