Admin Involvment

Zok obviously will be a much more involved admin than Jeff ever was, but what I want to know is what would have been different if Jeff participated in totse. It seemed to me that he had the system set up so it could run without a head honcho. What difference would have it made to the day to day running of the site if he had participated?

I think there would've been a difference, though maybe not for the better.

Like if your parents are rich and give you everything you want you grow up to be a complete dick, but if your parents are emotionally distant and barely speak to you then you turn out like a regular human being who can never really feel anything except for intense anguish at the fact that your parents couldn't even show you any kind love and what kind of unlovable monster are you?

I think there's a balance and I think that it's very much like parenting. You have to be firm, and know when to give and when to hold.
