Crosslinking NfHC and Stoner Chat in a Different Way?

First of all, let me say that I love the way NfHC looks now. It's great being able to see new threads as soon as you load the page. Plus the removal of the clutter is symbolic of the change of administration, and a herald of good things to come for our drug community.

However, many people seem to miss the cross linking. I don't often visit SC, but last night when I decided to, it was a hassle.

Could we just have a small link somewhere at the bottom of the page in normal font that would take us between the forums?

I've had some requests for something similar going the other way as well, i'm ok with it if its doable, and both ways.

A link is fine but...when you scroll down to NFHC you see cannabis corner first.

I'm game...whichever forum NFHC wants. A link to CC would be nice but if they just want Stoner Chat they can def have it.

Having a link to the Cannabis forum in NfHC makes sense, but there's no way (AFAIK) to put the link at the bottom of the page without writing/finding a vB hack. Maybe Zok or deus would be up to it once their to-do lists get a bit shorter, but there's nothing I can do myself. My tech knowledge is pathetic.

Still, if you and the other NfHC mods need a link to the Cannabis Corner (or vice versa) in the meantime, it wouldn't be a problem. We'd have to do it the usual way, but it's better than nothing if people are getting annoyed.

Or, if it's a link at the bottom of the page that people want, they can use the Forum Jump until we know whether or not a proper link can be put down there.

i figure everyone will get used to it in a week or so either way.

Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing last night. Just put the link to stoner chat back in NfHC, you can easily get to CC through SC anyway.

Alright. That's your prerogative. They'll probably be using the Forum Jump for a good long while, though, because I'd imagine that writing or finding a hack to fix a mild inconvenience is low on the admin to-do list at this point. :/
