I dont know heaps about American politics especially historically but i am very interested in it. I was just watching an interview conducted in the last couple of years with Bill Clinton and it seemed like he had his head screwed on right and i am just wondering whether you guys have any insight/opinions on him as a President.
Seemed like had good policies on Bin Laden and got very close to catching him, and recognised him as a threat and dealt with him without him having to attack Americans specifically

He seemed like a good enough guy.

Clinton had his head screwed on right and good policies? Lets examine:
- signed NAFTA into law, sucking jobs out of the US, and allowing cheap agrobusiness exports into Mexico which practically destroyed the native farming population which caused massive unemployment and the unemployed heading to the cities to find work which they couldn't which contributed to massive overcrowding of cities and led to the massive influx of immigrants into the US who were looking for work because they had lost their jobs in Mexico due to NAFTA
- signed into law the Defense of Marriage Act which placed a federal ban on same-sex marriage. He compromised away the rights of gays and lesbians in the military with the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
- allowed a myriad of restrictions on abortion to be passed
- along the same vein as NAFTA, Clinton had two neoliberal free trade men high up in his administration, Robert Rubin and Larry Summers, who are now in Obama's administration. These two were instrumental in engineering the Clinton Administration's adoption of pro-free market neoliberal economic policies - deregulation of the banking system that led to the speculation on Wall Street that caused the current financial crisis, promoting corporate power etc
- cut away at government programs that benefited the poor such as welfare

As you can see, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, etc. are all the same people, they just adopt superficial opposing policies like gun control, pro-life, etc. George Bush ran as an isolationist, and he invaded two countries, he ran as anti-abortion and did virtually nothing for the pro-lifers, and so forth. All of this social bullshit like gay marriage, women's "rights" are nothing more than smoke screens that simpletons fall for, it's just a means of getting votes, they still support the same exact globalist, Zionist policies.

Clinton was a traitor to the ideals of the Democratic Party.
In his first week in office, he DID reverse some of the oppressive policies towards reproductive rightrs for women, but then he turned coat--caved in on his nomination of two good people for Surgeon general, came up with that asinine don't ask/don't tell policy, and totally sold out by signing the welfare "reform" (i.e., fuck the poor) act.
Plays a mean sax, though.

Ron Paul pretty much stands alone in the Republican party. I followed him quite closely during the primaries and my understanding is that he would have us pull out of most of our long-standing military engagements worldwide, and I believe that would include our support of Israel.

Ron Paul is the only Republican that I'd vote for. He's got it right when it comes to who to blame for the financial mess and can break down very quickly why the Federal Reserve should be eradicated. He's an avid Constitutionaist and believes government should stay out of peoples lives, but is for personal responsibility and no government bailouts/handouts. Also, he is anti-illegal immigration and thinks the banks today should be allowed to go under for their poor business practices. He believes bailing them out will prolong the recession for about 15 years. Ron Paul tells it like it is, he also believes we should not be spending billions of dollars protecting our Empire around the world - I don't think he is necessarily pro Israel.
Clinton also:
Along with Janet Reno was responsible for Waco killings
Extended circumstances for the death penalty and approved $8B for new prisons
Killed a proposal for health care insurance for the uninsured children in America (Before Bush did)
Support East Timor genocide by providing weaponry in the interest of commercialism
Supported sanctions against Cuba and Iraq causing the deaths of 500K children in Iraq due to lack of medicines
Kosovo bombing, bombing of Chinese Embassy in Belgrade and the pharmaceutical plant in ___________? Can't remember this second.
