when i see something and know it's made in china or indonesia i just feel like it is poor quality.
the only brands i know of that aren't are carhartt (more recently i noticed made in mexico/honduras) but most are made in the u.s. and ben davis is also made in the u.s.
any others? i've given up on trying to get shoes not made there.
or is it really any worse/better? do people in sweat shops care about the product they make just as much as someone in the u.s.?
EDIT: i have shirts from u.s. polo assn that are made in india. i guess thats a little better.

Seriously? You don't care about the worker exploitation? Only the quality of your shit?
Fuck no people don't care about what they're making in sweatshops! They're slaves man. Why would they have a strong company identity?!

pretty much lol. but i would actually prefer european made stuff to american stuff.
but do you really think people in the u.s. have any more pride in their work than someone in vietnam?

Shit made in China is almost always 100 times superior to European and American shit, whether American Union faggots want to admit it or not. AND they produce it for less. I don't know about you guys, but I'm throwing in with Chinese supremacy on this one, because I like being able to buy things for cheap.
Also African manufactured stuff is usually pretty good too. Same for Mexico.

Frankly, I don't give a fuck where anything I buy is made. As long as the company's standards for quailty meet my demands, I'm fine.

Well shit, it won't take much to meet your demands. I can't think of anyone who isn't capable of producing clothing that meets your standards. Even Ivory Coast negros could produce something that meets your standards, Toothlessjoe.

The only condition I have is that sweatshop products come with sweatshop prices; it pleases me to buy cheap Primark shit in the full knowledge that it was probably made by some destitute Indian 8 year old.

It doesn't matter where it's made. It's who made it that really matters.

I don't get why you guys are paying out sweatshop quality.
If they fuck up they either get whipped or fed to the dogs.
Hows that for motivation?
