On a run to buy 2nd hand LP's, I picked up a copy of Jethro Tull's A passion Play
Cool. Though upon opening it, along with the confrontation of quintessential Tull originality in album art design, I got this photo.

The hell...
This is an enigma to both me and my dad, the folks in this photo are definitley not Tull, so who the hell are they?
Thought putting it here might answer the question.

I've seen them before somewhere, I have a feeling they're a hard rock band. It's that fat guy that's making me think that... Fuck, this will bug me.

I've no idea who they are but damn that's an awesome picture.
Holy Christ that big guy's ugly. Well, they're ALL kinda scary. I think they're roadies. :O
Edit: The guy in front looks like Jim Jones... or Val Kilmer.. ??

That fat guy looks like my friends grandma. I want to find out his name so I can call her that. Up until now I have been calling her Big Bird, Gene Simmons, or Ron Jeremy. But she looks more like that dude than any of them.

You sure it isn't an old picture of Tull?

So many bands have faded to the pages of history, but that pic is pretty damn epic.
e: I'll ask my friend, she's into loads of weird 60s bands no one's heard of

Tony Iommi, Meat Loaf, ?, Jim Morrison.
Fukked if I know... just a larf.
And another larf...
I had 'Broadsword & the beast' & recorded it on tape & would sometimes play it in the car.
My cobber liked it & stole my record so he could get it tattooed on his arm.
Our other cobber (who was a bit younger) kept saying, "If you like this music, I got a tape at home you will just LOVE.
"Oh yeah Ok yeah Ok whenever" , we said.
This happened a few times & we were a little tired of him saying it everytime I played the tape.
So, one day, hes all excited like & passes the tape hes now got, over to us from the rear of the car.
My mate grabs it before he can shove it in the tapedeck & turns it over a little bit.
And thats when we see, on the cassette, the imortal words.
"Jeff Rotel"
You might be able to trace the number on the airplane in the back of the picture.

Tony Iommi, Meat Loaf, ?, Jim Morrison.
