Now that Conan is off the air, its time for Jimmy Fallon to take the reins of late night. What are your thoughts?

I think Fallon isn't nearly as smart and witty as Conan, so his show will be a massive phale whale.

I hope Fallon does well, just for the sake of Conan's legacy. I don't know of him well, but he seemed rather good when he was on Conan the other day. Did anyone catch the last episode last night? It was kind of sad to see Conan get choked up.

I am not looking forward to Jimmy Fallon taking Conan's place. I don't think he's very funny.

Yeah, I thought he was going to cry but he did a nice job of giving everyone credit for all the years of work they never really got noticed for.

Fallon was painfully unfunny on SNL, and I doubt he'll do any better with his own show. A lot of people don't remember that Conan's first two years were pretty rough around the edges and critically slammed, but Fallon's already been given ample opportunity to bring the funny and he just hasn't.

I've watched Conan every single weeknight for years now. I'm a huge fan. so Friday was a pretty unreal night for me, but he'll back soon enough, bigger and better than ever.

as far as Fallon; I have alot of faith in him. I think he'll do alright. you have to think...when Conan took over, he was a complete unknown. Fallon, well...did no-one see him on Late Night last week? he should do fine. if not, Conan's still got years ahead of him. and he's an hour sooner this time!

anyhow, has it been confirmed yet whether or not the entire Max Weinburg 7 will be moving to The Tonight Show? Conan and Max's chemistry was perfect and the way Conan treated the band as a whole was probably one of the best running jokes of the entire show.

Jimmy Fallon is the biggest unfunny faggot to ever be on TV. Every SNL skit with him in it makes me want to travel back in time and give Fallon's mom an abortion.

I was never a big Conan fan.I think all late night shows are running on a stagnant formula.

Yeah, they're all going to the Tonight Show together. Think about it...Conan and that band have been together since the beginning. There's no way in hell they're going to give him a new band for the Tonight Show...

Well he announced that the band will be joining them in L.A

I hope Jimmy Fallon can hold it together for the first few years. Conan did a great job not giving a shit.

Jimmy Fallon is probably going to be better than we all expect, but still suck somewhat. I'm glad he goes head to head with Craig, because so many more people will watch Craig. And Craig rules

Honestly, I don't think anyone can top Conan. Anyone who can speak in front of an audience can stand on stage and spit out pre written jokes, but Conan's personality and hair is just hilarious.

I don't know if Conan can really replicate the humour and the atmosphere his show had. The humour was clever, rude, yet very relevant.

Example:

After the Midterm elections in 2006

When I heard Jimmy Fallon would take over Conan's spot, I almost literally fell out of my chair. I never minded the guy, but Jimmy freakin Fallon? That's the best they could come up with?

Does Jimmy Fallon even have any fans? I've never heard of one. Nobody could fill Conan's shoes, but geez... it's like NBC didn't even try.

He used to laugh during every sketch on SNL. He couldn't tell a joke without laughing before he even told it. He really sucks. I say he'll last for about 3 months. Tim Meadows would have been better than him and especially Will ferrell. well in retrospect, after watching will's last movie, i'm kinda glad they didn't chose him.

But what do I care, I don't even watch that show!

I think ABC should push Nightline back and create a spot for Kimmel after the late news. Put him in direct competition with the creepy, awkward, and sometimes painful to watch Conan. At least Andy Richter is coming back, though. He eases some of the tension. Conan definitely needs a sidekick for me to tolerate him.

The only funny thing I think I've ever seen Fallon do were the Celebrity Jeopardy skits on SNL, but they were made entirely by Ferrel (who I think hasn't don't a funny thing since) and the guys who did the Connery and Reynolds impressions.

Hell I would be pissed as hell if Conan was gone, I think he isn't going to start until april or something like that, don't quote me on that, but I know there will be at least a couple of months with out him, so sad!
