My issue with a lot of racists is not their views, but the apparent motivation behind holding such views. More often than not, it seems like racists thrive on the conflict their views create, and they enjoy rubbing people's faces in it. It's like the view itself doesn't matter - it's all about starting shit with other people.

I support your views insofar as they are yours, but if you hold those views for the sole purpose of pissing other people off, then that doesn't make you a visionary, a hero, or an insightful minority, it makes you a pathetic, conflict mongering asshole who has nothing better to do with his time.

And it absolutely kills me that they usually counter opposition with the free speech/it's just my opinion rhetoric, but then turn around and start acting like other people are too stupid to be allowed to hold their own opinions. You cannot simultaneously berate others for holding an opinion and then turn around and claim that they aren't allowed to berate you for yours.

I guess this was more of a flame against racists, and I honestly can't say that it's entirely applicable to you, but that's the best you're getting out of me.
