You know when you log into any account of any type, from twitter to email to this, you have a limit to the time you can stay idle before it automatically logs you out.
I have concluded the time out lapse here is too short. I get timed out by such things as reading through a long thread, writing a post or rolling a joint.
My suggestion is to raise the time we are allowed to stay idle.
Just fucking click "Remember Me"

This. Even if its a public/shared computer, it still logs you out when you manually log out. Just check it off when you log in, and you'll stay connected for your entire stay.

Doesn't remember mine once I manually log out. It clears all cookies and forgets the username/password. Perhaps your browser is saving it?

Thats the problem with it. If this thing remembers my pasword it means I dont have to type it and after a couple of days Ill forget it. Also, if it is a shared computer (like say, school) I wont want to let the damn machine remember my personal info cause it can be tracked down by anyone later.
I might just as well write it down somewhere so I dont forget it and click the remember me box as you said see if that works out.
Still what I said makes it safer cause if in the end you do forget and leave the computer it does log you out, it only gives you a little more time to read/write posts or browse your other windows or im before it does, it still is better than going with the remember me.

If it helps some users who choose not to select the option to "be remembered" then I think it is a good suggestion.
