Chill out, man. It's midnight, and the issue's been resolved. The OP had the wrong reasons to want JFLC banned, but JFLC did commit actions that warranted him several infractions, and a ban. His ban ended, he continued doing what he did, and has again been promptly banned.

Okay this is a petition to ban Jim. The reasons he should be banned is he incites hatred and he derails threads.

He is a detrimental member of this community and I think the most responsible action the moderators could take would be a permanent IP-Ban of Carrey.

This thread is a complete failure. The only part of your post that in any way makes sense is:

De-railing and off-topic posting are against site rules, but expressing an opinion, no matter how much people hate it, is completely allowed. I really don't give a shit about his opinions, and I really don't give a shit if he pisses off every damn person on the site. If you don't like his posts, then put him on ignore.

His off-topic posting and derailing, both of which have occurred with much less frequency, are the only issues that were of any concern to those that do the banning and infracting here. If we start banning whoever happens to be the "asshole of the moment," then we're gonna run out of users really damn fast.
