Didn't they have it at the top for a while at Totse when it changed to vB and everyone got pissed having to scroll all the way back up to the top after reading all the posts?

I reckon it would go well on the same line as the 'Post Reply' button on the top and bottom of the thread.

Hell no, leave it where it is. I use it when I get to the bottom of a thread usually.

Can't you have one at top and bottom? It's not like it's more than a line or two of PHP and/or CSS.
