the much anticipated sequel to the second best hip-hop album ever - rivaled only by Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) - is due to be released in march 09.
the producers behind the album are stated to be RZA, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Erick Sermon, Allah Mathematics and DJ Scratch. it will feature guest appearances from GZA, Inspectah Deck, Method Man and Ghostface Killah.

this is going to be a great album! ghostface killah and raekwon have amazing chemistry together and pulled off alot of great verses on finely crafted RZA tracks in Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

Id definitely listen to the album but To be honest though, besides verbal intercourse I didn't really like the first one. Raekwons too 'gangsta' and shit if you know what i mean, the rest of them all rap about funny shit or like cutthroat battle rhymes or shit about kung fu. raekwon is all like "yo son, nigga what, get that paper nigga," and the intros are so black and long lolol

raekwon's sick, he uses a lot of slang but his rhymes are tight and original, now someone like snoop dogg or dr dre are too 'gangsta'. i do agree about the intros though, but that's a given with any wu-tang or wu-tang affiliate album..

Someone leaked a song onto youtube called "Wu Ooh" that sounded like a straight early, first round of Wu solo albums joint, and it had Method Man and Ghost on it too. Good shit.

ITT: Disappointing sequels.

I hope I'm wrong though. It'd be nice to see something from Ghost soon, shitty tracks with Kanye West and Neyo don't cut it.

don't expect much man. this guy has been abusing cocaine to extreme amounts for years since his last album. RZA in my opinion has lost his touch. we'll see. i'll be checking this out day 1 though, because i loved OBFCL1 so much.

i agree, it could be a stinker.. but a big part of me hopes that some of the magic that was in the original will resurface in the sequel.

So it's here, and I'm a little let down. It's not a bad album, but I really had my hopes up for something better. Dre's songs are kind of whack too.

Well, I gotta say, this is the best output from a Wu member since Fishscale. Shit's pretty good, better than Blackout 2 and 8 Diagrams by far.

Yeah, way better than Blackout 2 and 8 Diagrams. It could have been like 5 songs shorter though, a few aren't very good.
