Cause this this is so damn slow and if you are to upload an image or want a smiley you dont remember the code for you have to wait for the post reply window and all that shit...

I have no clue why this works on pages that are struggling to load, but if you hover your mouse pointer right over a link on the page you are trying to view so that the little tooltip text appears.. then kind of hold the tooltip text there... or wave your pointer back and forth a little to make the tooltip appear and reappear... then the page loads.

This isn't my doing (I wish it were, because then I could actually fix it). Our host is one that's known for two things: ddos protection (which doesn't always work) and allowing all sorts of "borderline" content. Because of this, the host is a common target for attacks. When we went out a little while ago it was because someone attacked the hosts's DNS servers - which then brought down their network.

In other news, I've sent in an application to a new host to get a better server and hopefully better bandwidth. We'll see :)
