Well not all movies have bad sequels. There was Alien,Predator,Terminator,X-Men. all of those were pretty good.

Don't watch the sequel. The plot is exactly the same as the first movie, but worse. It's not so much a sequel as a remake. There's no real drama, no philisophical implications, bad acting, low budget, unnecessary throwbacks to the first one...

There is zero originality.

I wouldn't classify it as shitty, but yeah it wasn't as good as the others.
