I need some ideas for a new mouse as my current one is starting to look and feel a little dated.
Any reccomendations? :)

Do you want a gaymen mouse?

I'll probably end up using it for a bit of everything, gaymen, photoshop, video editing, etc

Ahhh, I think that's where I've been going wrong....
Anything a little more specific? Brand? Model?

Logitech and Razer both make GAYmen mices. And I guess if its good enough for gaymen it'll do its job for everything else.

If it's not for gaymen, I like Microsoft mouses.
No frills, well made and reliable. I've got an original optical Intellimouse which still works brilliantly despite being stuffed in a bag daily and thrown around.

I been using this logitech mx518 for a while and before that it was a mx510. The new G5 or whatever looks good since they added the second thumb button back. The variable sensitivity buttons come in handy during gaming, no gimmick imo.

I've got a G9, it's nice for a GAYMAN mouse.
Would recommend over anything Razer has to offer, their drivers make me go hulk mode.

I have been zinged and I love it!
Cheers NaiveMonarch, I'll have a look at the G9, I've never been a big fan of Razers either

I been using the Logitech MX Revolution for the past year or so. Bit pricey, but see if you can find it on the five finger discount shelf like I did. It's an excellent mouse.

Do not, I repeat do not get a mouse that has wheel side-click ability. It's utter shite.

Cheers graphite, I've been thinking about getting the MX Revolution for a while, but after looking at the price I'll have a look around to see where I can get it a little cheaper
