This is one of the best Canadian tourism sites I've seen.

It's not as lame as it sounds. BC and the Albertan rockies and just awesome if you're at all outdoorsy, Vancouver/Toronto/Montreal are all great metropolises (though Montreal has the best nightlife), the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick... fuck Newfoundland) are gorgeous and have this old, Gaelic charm to them (well, maybe not New Brunswick so much), Quebec is an interesting little part of North America where Europe really seems to meet North America quite astutely (Quebec City is gorgeous), and the desolate far North even seems quite interesting to me. In fewer words, stfu  :D.

I've always liked Canada. I reckon it's a pretty nice country to visit.

Canada is a great place if you have disposable income. But if your a average joe, its going to suck, definitely not a bang for your buck.

Just remember: if you go to Quebec, you have to order a "poutain", not "poutine". "Poutine" is an anglicized version of the correct word. lulz.

For sure true in Vancouver and Toronto and various other places, but lots of places are still cheap and frankly the whole country is generally cheaper than a lot of places in Western Europe. Quebec and the Martimes are particularly cheap.
