How long do your gaming sessions last?

How long do they normally last and for what games? I'll play counterstrike or tf2 for about an hour and a half before I start to lose interest. I find I can play single player games for longer periods than multiplayer games due to the developing storyline and the anticipation of whats going to happen next.

I can play a game for 15 minutes and get sick of it, or I can sit for 12 hours while the time flies. Depends on the game.

Yeah, depends on the game; I much prefer single players myself, a good story and good gameplay has seen me spend 8 hours plus in a single session. Online games not so much, I've played css for 3 hours before but I think that's the max.

My gaming sessions can last up to anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. Yeah, it's been done before, many many times, but thats when I plan for like "Okay, fuck everything today. I'm playing games. It's me day." You know?

But generally, they can last for a good 5 hours, give or take a few.

At work, if I'm really lucky and am just pulling security for a structure that's closed that day, I can get a good 12 to 14 hours on my DS. :]

Back when I was a high school stoner, we'd get together at a friend's house who had a floor entirely to himself. We'd spend there days being high and playing video games. Once we played Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast for like an entire day and half way through the night, and only using Voldo. Or the entire 24 hours endurance of the Le Mans 24 Hours game (PC, not the PS2 piece of shit). But most of all we played Half Life Deathmatch, only crossfire. Fun times.

Nowadays, I play for like a half hour before I get bored.

I play them until I realize they're not offering anything I haven't done in a game before. Sometimes if it's got good graphics and control I just hack it so I can go on a killing spree with immunity.
I can generally tell how interesting a game will be within the first hour and usually know how it will end by that time as well.

when i got it i spent alomst nine hours playing it and then barely touched it after that

Only problem I have with saints row 2 is the vehicles, give it gta4 vehicles and engine and saints row wins but for replay value to me gta4 is a game you can get on and zone out running from cops and just "crusin" around making colossal traffic jams.

As for Call of Duty 4 I would sit and play that for 6+ hours easily just sitting all dark TV glowing laying down sniper in hand looking for those kills that make you watch your kill cam and you watch yourself die to just lower and shake your head going wow that was a BS shot heh.

i loved gta 4 the first day i had it and after that i couldnt get back into it at all after i started playing siants row 2

granted the vehicles are much better on gta 4
replay value is higher in saints row 2
