I haven't been getting much sleep during the night lately and i've been sleeping during the day alot. A couple nights ago, I had a weird dream, and when I woke up, I felt scared and i was hearing things that weren't there. Afterwards, I realized that nothing was there and I closed my eyes and It happened again... This has happened about four times now. I need to know what is happening

same thing happens to me all the time, I've noticed it specifically is triggered when I take klonipin...

It's only sleep paralysis if you're paralyzed. Otherwise, it was a dream.

Well, I really can't move because I feel so scared whenever I wake up

Sleep paralysis is when your body is in between sleeping and waking. Your body stops most physical movement so you don't have as much risk of hurting yourself while asleep. When you get jerked awake your mind is active while your body is not quite caught up.

It happens to most people. I've never experienced it personally.

Many people see the "old hag" when they get sleep paralysis.. Just as the above poster mentioned about seeing muslim ladies, while in a mental hospital and being given oral doses of klonipin I would experience sleep paralysis and I would see nurses floating above me with no eyes, it felt very real and very scary.
