Dunno how many of you have ever had the chance to keep fresh pot around long enough to experience this, but its interesting and nice if you ever get the chance.

I just pulled a jar of strawberry cough out, which i haven't touched in 4 weeks, since i was certain it was 100% dry. just left it in the dark in a sealed jar.

The buds have changed in structure...feels almost like cotton candy, dense, compact but not brittle, slight smell released more strongly when ground or given a squeeze.

not compressed, just...finished.

Anyway, it never hurts to say it again...you truly cannot rush a good cure.

Has it been in 4 weeks from the original hanging or in the jars longer but burped before hand?

a week hanging (or three days brown bagged, i honestly can't remember which strain i did which way, ends up the same). then a few days burping the jars to make certain there was no moisture hiding in them...then 3 weeks of stashing it in a closet and forgetting about it.

strawberry cough

oh wow that's fucking weird.

I just watched Children of Men last night and since I'd never heard of strawberry cough I didn't think it was a real strain. (the strain is mentioned at least twice by the hippie guy in that movie)

I guess I'm mistaken :lsd:

I need to try this now! :grinblunt:

if ppl knew what tobacco looked like fresh dried vs how it is when u buy it from a tobacconist, they would never rush cure their buds again! there is SO much chemistry that happens in that 1-3months.

2nd most important part of growing!

I'm at the stage right now....it gets me high as fuck but I have a decent stash in jars right now just drying out....

Twice a day I take them out of the jars because they're as moist as the day I manicured them. They dry out quick.

Plus the high humidity in my area lately has been making the process slower.

I can tell this bud is going to be amazing once properly cured though so I have to wait man I HAVE TO WAITT!!!

full cure usually isn't conservative

ive heard several times that strawberry cough was produced by a private breeder and not sold to clubs or seedbanks, and that very few people still have it as it can only be propogated via clone now and not many people with mothers want to share. is that true or bs?

ive seen it twice. once when i worked in a night club, and once at a huge festival. damn fine strain.

ive had several ppl try to sell me what smelled like godberry or mandala hashplant as it before but they obviously were nto well connected enough to get the real deal.

came to me via clone, from a...i'm going to say reasonably trusted and well connected source.

it has an almost spicy scent in the jar, going sweeter when ground. I liked the blueberry better tbh.
