I came across this (http://pt.wkhealth.com/pt/re/ajog/abstract.00000447-200509000-00012.htm;jsessionid=JtrRR3NRZD5SgfbRZGL24vDv6yd34 1HqrpGlF7QdM5346j3ClK96!751744069!181195628!8091!-1 ) article today and really want to read it! While I've heard loads of testimonials about how the VCH affects sexual arousal, orgasms etc., I'd never heard of a scientific study being done about it and am now very intrigued to know more...

Unfortunately though, while I do have access to the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, my Uni account won't let me access the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology so I can't check it out. :(

Bit of a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone (maybe at Uni in the USA) can access this... and would be willing to email it to me?

And to make this thread more discussion-worthy: how have any girls here with a VCH found it affects their sex life? I've got one myself and love it - it presses on my clit and so gives me that little bit extra when I'm feeling horny. :D

Which Uni are you at and what are you studying out of curiosity?

Oh and is it not exceptionally painful when being pierced theere?

^^
It's not painful at all because the clitoral hood is such a thin piece of skin. I've heard that it's the least painful piercing to get and the quickest healing too, but I can't really comment myself because I have no other piercings.

Oh, and I'm at Kent Uni doing Psychology.

A clitoral hood piercing would be the equivalent of a foreskin piercing, it's not like the bar bisects the clit.

I have one and it's nice.

Do you have your ears pierced?

That's a bit too technical for me! :p

Do you have your ears pierced?

No, I never got them done and don't reckon I ever will.
People still often assume I have got them though; I sometimes get given nice earrings as presents and always end up giving them away.

Heh, neither do I. When I went to get my VCH, I was freaking out about the pain, and the lady said "don't worry, it hurts less than getting your ears pierced." I told her that I didn't have my ears pierced, and she was shocked.

I'll just whip out a safety pin and find out how much that hurts...

All I can say is--YIKES!

IMHO, metal and naughty bits do not belong together.

I'd imagine that it would hurt a lot less than going through your penis.

Lol.

I will never let needles, rings and other metal artifacts near my genitals ever.

I'd love one, but I have a super sensitive clit, so I think the sensation would be too much. The friction from the jewelry would actually probably hurt quite a bit.

I guess I'll have to stick to boring old labia piercings for now.

Do your labia piercings ever get in the way when you're having sex?

Also, are they on your inner or outer lips?

I don't have any, yet.

I've also been wondering the same thing, which is why I want to talk to someone who has them before getting them. I think outer labia ones are really cute when done right.
