It leads to war, genocide, shitty over inflated government, eventual collapse, mass produced everything, etc. What do you think the world would look like if all or most communities were tight knit and self sufficient? Are most people just not capable of civilizing themselves?

I concur, to a certain degree.

Well I would agree that this would be a better system on the whole for avoiding all the shit that goes on in the world today. It would at least keep them tamer I suppose.
However, I can think of two examples why this system still wouldn't really work. First off, if you know much about the Middle East around the time of Muhammad, you would know that for the most part, people didn't organize beyond community (if I am remembering this correctly that was usually their extended family). Yet still there was fighting amongst the groups, usually over water sources. I mean I think the human drive to take what they don't have of value will always hold.
Secondly, if you think back to the British colonies in America, then you would know of all the problems that went on with all the different colonies. There wasn't the same currency, nor laws, etc. It was quite a pain to travel. I mean I guess this example isn't a reason not to just live in communities, but it would make it difficult.
However there are plenty of reasons why purely community life would be easier.

yeah because a father doesn't need to find food while the mother is raising a child right? and a mother doesn't even need to organize with her new born infant right? families will always organize, tard
