$6970, straight to the bank from the school I go to. Why? Because my tuition is only $4600 after being banned from living on campus, and my aid and scholarship money still totals out to over $11000 a semester.
Now to go spend. :D

Sure, it's great now. Until you realize that you're still going to have to pay the loan back, plus accrued interest at most likely, 15.25%. Trust me, you're best off not spending money that isn't yours.

This. I graduated in May, so my grace period ended in November. Hello, $150 a month student loan payments for the next 10 years. Not really, I'm going to pay them off sooner, but still. It sucks.

Bankruptcy doesn't get rid of student loans. Those follow you until they are paid off.
They don't stop you from going bankrupt or they atleast can contribute to that.

Yea, I had the same set up OP had... It was nice getting ~4,5 a semester in your acct... until they started taking my tax returns for not paying them back hahaha....
