I would like to send out multiple pms to various users on holidays or for other reasons of a similar nature. I would think it would be easy enough to implement or take away if someone abused it.

Lets reward responsibility with improved user features.

you can already Pm multiple users. you ahve to add them one a time.

there's also social groups which would allow you to get info to a larger group after they opt in by joining your little club.

in other words, learn to use the existing features.

to add more recipients to a PM click the little bcc link under the box for the first recipient. Just like with any email program you've ever used.
