Making chip dip or Sidekicks and feeling like you know how to cook

it's fucking boss. also catching the microwave on the last second and opening the door before it beeps and you feel like you just defused a fucking bomb.

or making a really good sandwich and you're like "MAN! I should sell this!" because its' that good and then you eat it and there's some substance either missing or too apparent, like when i put too much hot sauce. yeah discuss

Yah, I throw together a meal for myself a few times a week, it's always simple as hell, but it really inflates my cooking ego.

I always have to "defuse the bomb" when i'm home on break, getting late night snacks with my dad still sleeping on the couch. Its always nerve wracking.
