He only pisses me off when he talks because he sounds so...douchey. Dropping gangsta slang just because he hangs out with Usher is grounds for thinking he's a dumbass. I don't mind that he's successful though.

Yeah, he needs to cut out the gangsta slang. I don't care that he's successful. I do think his music sounds like shit, well i'm a metal head so that's an obvious one right there. I don't see how one person can get that big of a following/cult behind them for making shitty music.

I can honestly say I've never heard his music except in passing, so I don't know. But there have always been those pop teenage heartthrob types. I think you could possibly classify it into a genre.
Can you imagine if the Jonas brothers and Bieber went on tour together? Millions of teenage vaginas would explode.

I've re-evaluated my position in this argument. I completely understand what everyone was saying. He IS "douchey", I thought I didn't like him because of his success, but I don't like him because he's a complete douche. The way he talks gangster.. I spent a lot of time in stratford ontario as a kid, and it's NOT gangster there. They have a nice playground on an island with water around it, lots of eloquent commercial areas, but it's not exactly mott haven.
He's the definition of sell-out. I give him credit for having some talent, but it pisses me off that he beat Eminem this year with his crappy song. He's capitalizing off of teenage estrogen releases. When I was 12-13? You know what girls listened to? The Marshall Mathers LP. They'd go around down saying "You can suck my dick, I don't give a fuck" and we had a crazy generation. This new generation.. they're a bunch of pussy faggots & the girls listen to justin bieber.
