actually, the summertime gets very hot. almost unbearably hot. doesn't rain too much. i actually love the winnipeg summers. and there's a poster here who lived in winnipeg (but moved to regina :rolleyes:)

and it's not inuit-infested... just a lot of dirty ass stinky retarded native people, inuit or not. and ANYWAY, this takes place like 20 minutes outside of winnipeg. out in the country. it's beautiful, and i have every right to defend it. like i said, eat my acid and dance around with naked acid colorful girls, take it or leave it bucko.

Dude, I really want to go. If it was in Toronto, it'd be easier(but waaay less cool), because I'll be in Detroit at that point. It'd also be better if I knew the line-up, but we won't know until March. If the line up was right, I could get at least one buddy to go with me which is almost essential to me because of the long ride.

The thought of a good old acid loaded Canadian folk fest sounds damn good. You must take pictures and post them here. You simply must.

I think my mind will be a bit destroyed, but I'll try for pictures. I'll try.

Last year featured Elvis Costello and Levon Helm (drummer from The Band) as the "most famous", but every year is such a variety. Like, Cat Empire, you heard of them?

Also, they always have "Big Blue at Night" which could be like lasers and rave music or short films, either way it's all good to get fucked up for.

I'll see if I have a video camera by then, i'll try to film some shit. won't be as lulzy unless you're there, but hey.
