The call by some right wing leaders for rebellion and for the military to refuse the commander in chief’s orders is joined by Chuck Norris who claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution. During an appearance on the Glen Beck radio show he promised that if things get any worse from his point of view he may “run for president of Texas.” The martial artist/actor/activist claims that Texas was never formally a part of the United States in the first place and that if rebellion is to come through secession Texas would lead the way.

well good luck with that because I can assure you that it won't be like the American revolution.

That's true, because during the American Revolution, both sides were (more or less) equally armed.

not entirely true. Although Americans or British subjects at the time, had more firearms than Americans do today, they most certainly did not have an equal amount of firearms as the British did. In fact the entire American revolution was won only because we managed to last. If Britain really wanted to, they could have pulverized us.
What I meant by different is the fact that technology is far more superior than it was back in the day and it was only because of the lack of technology and a strong will of the people that made the American revolution even remotely possible to win. Today its much different because we have heavy survallience systems, a powerful military that can mobilize fast, and a bunch of civilians who really don't own a fire arm and the few that do typically only carry firearms intended for sport, although, I'm sure there are some who have illegal arms.
Lets also consider the difference in generations. Back in the day it was essential to have a pair of balls because if you didn't then it meant your life. Nowadays we're so cushioned by technological advances, a good number of us wouldn't even want to rebel because that would mean the end of their cushioned lives. A second American revolution doesn't mean we'd be going up against a modern day third world country...it means we'd be going after the most powerful country known to man.

The third world war will not be fought with guns. Because Knowledge is no longer power, it is survival.

Pretty much.
Americans won because the British were fighting not only white people, but white people who were basically British themselves. Thus they kinda had to play nice and couldn’t use their standard counterinsurgency tactics.

Maybe Texas should be pre-emptively kicked out of the Union?

Glen Beck is a fucking moron who for the past few months has been entirely focused on dooms day shit like this. Seriously, every time he opens his month it's about how fucked we are and then covers his ass by saying this is only speculation. Did anyone else see his war room segment, talk about an over exaggeration and fear mongering.

Thank God if Texas would be eliminated from the union. They're a shame and disgrace.

other European powers were moving against the UK, and the French were aiding the US against the UK fleets as example.
Also, well this will be interesting. And I'd probably go neutral. Seriously. Obama's mainstream 'left-wing' (lol) bullshit vs. Right-Wing conservative crap.
Im joining Ron Paul :D

I'd Lol very fucking hard. Right on the eve of their supposed secession, kick their asses out.
Eerily similar to the preemptive breakup.
