Announced today and releasing less than a week from now. Hell. Fucking. Yes.
I went ahead and bought this edition:
Radiohead's new record, The King Of Limbs, is presented here as the world's first* Newspaper Album, comprising:
* Two clear 10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
* A compact disc.
* Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together.
* The Newspaper Album comes with a digital download that is compatible with all good digital media players.
* The Newspaper Album will be shipped on Monday 9th May 2011 you can, however, enjoy the download on Saturday 19th February 2011.
* Shipping is included in the prices shown.
* One lucky owner of the digital version of The King Of Limbs, purchased from this website, will receive a signed 2 track 12" vinyl.
Radiohead is one of the few bands I have total confidence in. Absolutely cannot wait to hear this.

Dude, Im stoked for this!!Thanks for sharing the info!!!!
I love Radiohead, favorite album has got to be amnesiac. Its sweet how each member of the band also does their own solo works too. Have you ever heard Johhy Greenwoods soundtrack for There will be blood?(Amazing)
I wonder if it has been leaked yet?

Looking forward to this. I really liked In Rainbows (aside from a couple lyrical decisions) and I'm excited to see where this one goes.

I think I'll wait for the next Muse album instead. They're the same thing only Bellamy has talent, right?

LOL.
Anyway, three songs in and I'm in love. Already feel it's their best work since Kid A. Really reminds me of that and Amnesiac, which as far as I'm concerned has always been their best era. The Bends era being a close second.

Album is absolutely phenomenal. Can't stop listening to it. Codex is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Looking forward to this album though I hope it will be synthesized like Amnesiac, Kid A, and OK Computer because the sounds coming from those albums always gave me a head trip. In Rainbows and Pablo Honey seems bland to me.

this album is a disappointment compared to their previous albums :/
it sounds like they just improvised 8 songs and sold it on the prestige of their band name

I can understand not liking it, but calling it improvised is just lunacy. It's quite clear a lot of effort went into this music. It's extremely layered but it's also very subtle and nuanced.
Easily their best since the one two punch of Kid A/Amnesiac as far as I'm concerned, but to each his own.

copypaste from a dude i know who loves radiohead
"Rumor is this is only half of a double album for Radiohead. Last song is called "Seperator" and the lyrics say "if you think this is the end you're wrong"...the .mp3 file when downloaded marks the folder TKOL1. Part 2 to be released as scheduled tomorrow? Fuck do I hope so!!!"

Folder was not labeled TKOL1 for me, just The King of Limbs.
There is this though:

She's apparently a blogger for The Guardian.
I don't know, a second disk is entirely within the realm of possibility but I have a feeling it's just wishful thinking and people reading too much into things.
Would love to have to eat those words though.

This second album shit reminds me of when Tool's last album leaked out and everyone said "oh man this is fake the real one is going to only be on CD in the package at the store" because it wasn't Lateralus 2.
This isn't In Rainbows 2/OK Computer 2 so all the disappointed hipster fanboys who expected the album of the decade are now whining.

This is really fucking good. Jesus.
How could you not like this? This is EASILY their best work yet.

Well, it's not quite the same thing as when In Rainbows came out there was a whole extra disc if you bought the retail version, so at least with this band there is a precedent.
Anyone who doesn't think this album is enough though is an idiot. Shit is fucking awesome.

Im not really liking this album too much. Its good but it does not strike a chord in my heart.
I've got to agree with you mancannon, that era of their career was the best. Amnesiac is my favorite album of theirs.

From "House of Cards"...
"I don't wanna be your friend
I just wanna be your lover"
...is the one that sticks out the most.

Wow, I didn't expect Radiohead to be coming out with something new anytime soon. Thanks for posting this OP or I probably would have never known it was coming out. In Rainbows was pretty decent, id say my favorite song from that album was "Jigsaw Falling Into Place".
It was also really cool that they let you pick how much you paid for in rainbows. I really liked that idea. Radiohead got a  from me whenever they did that!

I wasn't really that impressed with this album. But then again, I'm more of an OK Computer / The Bends kind of guy.
