I was referred to it from Chemphoria, and being the nice guy I am I figure many of you would want to read it as well. I don't think I will have the tea anymore, which is a pity because I was enjoying the cheap high.

Ive never used seeds but use pods and have never had a problem. I dont think its totally true becasue poppies have been used for thousands of years without it killing the people who use it.

Well, it doesn't necessarily kill you quickly; thousands of years ago they probably couldn't recognize renal cancer when they see it. There may also be other factors in work as well, like modern pollution or something. It may not be correct, but still its kinda scary stuff.

I'm on poppy pod tea right now actually and I'm not dead...

Are the heavy metals naturally in the seeds or are they getting in there from their production? Is it in the pods too? If it's just the seeds, one could make poppy pod tea but remove the seeds and everything would be gravy.
