Sometimes I don't shower out of laziness, but then my head gets itchy. That's a good reminder that I need to shower, you should use that reminder for yours and others' benefit.

well the water turned brown in vancouver for a while so i didnt show for a few days, i did wash my crotch the only smelly area. my hair is naturally non greasy.

How can you bear to be like that? Seriously. I've not showered for about 24 hours and already I feel greasy and unclean, I'm just about to take one. I've gone maybe 4 days while at a festival and don't mind not showering for a day or two when I'm staying at a mate's house and can't be bothered, but if you're just lying around I don't see how you put up with it. Showers feel good, man.

Gah, reminded me of this video I saw once of some hobo in a hospital and his entire leg was filled with squirming maggots.
When they took him for a cleanup and a shower and removed the maggots, his leg was fine, just had some minor injuries. According to the doctor he'd probably been off worse without the maggots because they ate away all the dead and useless flesh.
...but that was one of the most disgusting things I saw in my life.

But that's cause of basement dwelling and living off government checks, there was no need to leave the house.
I have this one friend who showers around once every couple months. He wears the same clothes all the time. I don't think hes ever washed them. I let him stay over one night and my room smelled like a horse has been rotting in there for centuries.

10 days, but that was because I was out in the sticks with no showers for hundreds of miles around. I still swam in some lakes though.

The longest I went without showering was a little over a week. That was when my first girlfriend dumped me, and I was too depressed to leave the house or shower or really do anything. I just sat there for a long time. Then I got over it. :p
Sometimes I don't shower for a day or two when I know I won't be encountering anyone.

I shower most days, some weekends I get hung over and stay at home without showering until Sunday night so I am ready in the morning.
On a camping trip once I went like a week and a half without swimming or anything close to it.

Anyone NOT like showers but do it as somewhat of a chore that has to be done?
I don't like standing in there, then when the water hits you you're freezing cold for half a second before it warms you up, and makes your heart beat all hard. It doesn't feel very nice getting soaking wet, ESPECIALLY the hair and ears, washing your hair sucks and hurts when you have tangly hair, then when you get out of the shower it's freezing cold and it sucks, then when you put your clothes on and get out your hair is all wet and shitty feeling and your clothes feel all rough, and your skin feels all dried out.
I have a shower every 2 days and it's only so I don't look lazy. I don't see why most of you disgusting people stink all of the time after going a day without a shower. I don't stink at all unless I were to go to extremes, and it's not just that I can not smell it. I've never heard of anyone saying it in my life if I've went a few days without showering. Do regular people naturally have a stench after just a day or so without washing all of their excessive sweat off of them?
My hair is also way nicer the day I don't shower in the morning. On the days I do it's all dried out and sticks out everywhere. Showers are fucking gay.. maybe it's just because my shower sucks and we have hard water. I've showered at lots of other places and actually enjoyed them. Weird.
