I will be posting these as if I am the guy who originally posted them on the other website I go on, out of convienience. I don't actually know the guy building this car for the 'nats in his home garage.

Alright as mentioned in my project XB thread I have a mate building an EH, it used to run a destroked 400 chev and in the late 90s was a top 60 Nats car. He decided to try something different a few years ago and fitted a lexus V8 - last year began the power up with the inclusion of twin turbos.

The finish of the vehicle was top notch - not too many people would pull it apart for another build. Pics are the 'so far in the build process'

he looking at around 380 - 400kw, internals are pretty much stock


He doesn't work in the industry and apart from his engineer student mates who have help with calculations on geomtaries for suspension stuff is completely self-taught

The car is pretty much sitting idle for a little while until he sources some decent rear brakes to match the porsche ones upfront and chases up a few other bits and pieces - hopefully he have it running soon as he is flat-out on other projects like my XB, both his Kombi ute and Valo VG 2 door and then shortly starting on some mates Valiants including a Charger and VH Ute

Will post new photos as soon as they are done and its amazing all the work is done at home after work and is a real credit to him

Alright here are some progress pics - they are of the rear bumper insert, the bumper itself and exhaust cut-outs. So far for these items 130 hrs with a few more to go fitting the exhaust tips on the mufflers

More and more people are switching from Supercharging to Turbocharging on big V8s. And I fucking love it.

On a side note, the 90? degree V8 makes the turbos look tiny.
