I'm owed about £100 by a girl I know. It's now 10 weeks late and she's had three or four "definitely by next week" chances, and now is insisting she "has no money" (yet I know where she works and how much she earns) and that she'll get it to me "as soon as possible", and all this crap.
Basically, she has no intention of paying, or maybe does but clearly has such poor control over her finances that repaying debts is of very low priority.
I've just told her very clearly that she has a further 48 hours to get the money back to me. She thought I was joking at first but she eventually understood that I was serious. I've lost amounts like this before in similar ways, people just VANISH.
The one time I did get some back, I basically used some e-stalking to find out where they'd be at a certain time, found them there and stuck to them like glue until they paid up. No threats or anything, just politely but firmly requesting the amount - no "interest" or unfair shit, just the original amount.
I guess that is my next step, showing up somewhere in person and asking again. That shits people up a bit. She has no tough friends, in fact I know all her friends and they're a bunch of stoner pussies, whereas I'm a juiced up killing machine.
She is moving in with her parents soon and has friends, she won't starve after I take the money off her. So say I go and find her and suggest we visit a cash machine. She insists she has no money, so I ask her to prove it, say - if we get there and there's no money in the account. So I basically have to give her more time, and there has to be some threat involved somehow.
Should I ask her to suggest a specific date? Make it clear that I'll be happy to visit her at home to collect it if there's any problem with her bank shit?
any tips brahs?
