Just heard this on the radio. The other day dont know too much about it. But
apparently. The remaining members of sublime have been fighting over the rights
To the band. Bradley's widow has had ownership,rights... what ever u want to call It. Well she has finally gave them a green light to record as sublime. AWESOME I think after
Bradley's death.... I think they formed a new band called "the longbeach dub allstars" 90%
sure on that.... didn't go no where..........I hope they find a new singer and come back to the top of the charts once again...... I know there is no replacing bradley..... but if he is half as good as him they will be alright. Let me know ur thoughts and any updates if u hear any news. R.I.P BRADLEY....... Sublime rocks

Sublime without Brad is like Nirvana without Kurt Cobain. It just doesn't make any sense.

Fuck it, I'd rather just go to the Sublime Badfish Fest at the Nelson Ledges instead. At least there I'll be on so many drugs that I'll think Badfish (the cover band) is actually Sublime.

I used to really like Sublime, but they are a total studio band. They fucking suck live, Bradley couldn't sing for shit, they can barely play their own songs and half of their lyrics are ripped from old reggae songs.

They do bring back many fond memories though

Sublime fucking sucks. I'm so sick of seeing/hearing Sublime shit all over campus.

I'm glad they are back. Rome doesn't do too bad a job and I'm damn sure Bradley would want his music to be played. I feel a bit sad there is no Lou Dog though...

And  at the incessant 'frat boy music' complaints. It's music, it doesn't matter who listens to it, just enjoy it for what it is.

Didn't they already get back together? in like....09?

.............and didn't they suck without bradley?

I'll stick to the classics methinks.

This pretty much...In terms of music I like to hold them in my 1-3 category. They're a pretty shitty band, musicianship-wise.

Maybe one nice song. Maybe not nice enough though.

Yeah the new songs (from what I've heard) aren't anything special. Only reason I would see them is to hear old stuff and tribute poor old Brad and Lou Dog.

Here is a song off the upcoming album. It's not terrible, but not great either. Maybe it will grow on me.

They sucked after the junkie died. Just like every musical act.

Yeah but every time I've seen them I've been in another universe, if you get what I'm saying :lsd:

Eh what's the point?

I've seen Badfish play, they're pretty damn good. Honestly I'd rather see them again than go see Sublime without bradley. I tend to think cover bands are pretty lame, like they have zero creativity. But Badfish was their own opening act, by which I mean the same exact band plays their own original stuff under a different name (which escapes me at the moment) with their own sound and all that. Pretty cool.

15 years since Brad's death today. R.I.P

I was jammin' in my room by myself, improvising some lyrics over a happy little tune I been working on, the clouds parted and the sun shone onto my face and room. Was a pretty great moment to be playing music.

Everybody knows Bradley was Sublime, if you don't think that then you don't know Sublime. I think its great the band is still going. Its what Brad would've wanted. If you don't think that then you also don't know Sublime.

Haters gonna hate I suppose :grinblunt:
