Use patches woven from extruded/drawn glass fibres in combination with resin to build up a monocoque frame over a lightweight mold or scaffold. It will be a shit bike though.

I think the OP is refering to fitting air bag suspension, like on a landrover disco. Or a strange sexual kink first found in Greece.

Dude homestly DO NOT FUCK WITH BAGS IF YOU ARE ASKING HOW TO FIT THEM so you gtfo of this forum. Its obvious you don't know shit sbout welding,4linking and that so just get it done at the shop. I've seen many homejobs at a mates shop come in that have had the notch misplaced. He had a hilux in the other day that's notch was that fucked it basically crabwalked. Get it done at a shop so if it fucks up they fix it instead of having a useless piece of shit on the front lawn. I helped a few people bag their trucks and I still won't touch one by myself . My advice get it done at a shop.

listen to this dude ^^
bagging a ute to a roadworthy standard is actually kinda complex.
you need good tool skills and mechanical knowledge + the necessary info on bagging it. it doesnt really sound like you have either...

I don't think anyone has even bothered to try making a fibreglass bike.
Carbon fibre works pretty fucking well though.
Oh, I got my Schwinn Fastback Elite.

Worst £750 I ever spent. Seatpost slipped on the way home (less than three miles), the shop tightened it up and the collar snapped. New collar fitted, went out on an easy trail, two spoke nipples came loose and fell inside the wheel. Limped back to the shop, had to wait a week for a new Kore wheel (shop said they come tensioned from the factory). A day later I was back in the shop because the wheel flex was ridiculous - the rear wheel had hit the derailler (which fucked up the wheel and took a load of paint off of the frame), and I even had another shop check the spoke tension and they said it was fine. The seatpost had started slipping again, too. So I got a refund.
Should be getting me one of these in the near future (or possibly not, seeing as I have to save money for the summer).

It got 4.5/5 on bikeradar, and also, is probably the best looking bike I have ever seen.

nipples
lol
But seriously. The only thing I picked up from that was that the derailleur hits the wheel. How in the fuck does that happen? I ride a mountain bike 70 miles a week around here and its a cheap pos, and nothing like that has happened. What the fuck?

Mountain bikes have far stiffer wheels than road bikes. Also, this particular bike's derailler is much closer to the wheel than on a cheap bike (lots of gears on the back). Plus, the spoke nipples kept coming loose, so the wheel lost tension and became flexible (and they were pretty flexible to start with).
