Did anyone else think some aspects of this were a bit silly?

The fact that they had to recreate the conditions of the original flight in order to get back to the Island. Despite the fact that there were entirely different people on the plane the only thing they did to increase the chance of it working was bring along Jacks dads shoe.

I just thought it was kinda lame writing to be honest.

The shoe acted as a link for Jack's dad. After all, isn't it the little things that make all the difference ? :p

This show has me by the balls so bad, that I'm willing to suspend a little bit of disbelief so I can enjoy the rest of it.

dude, you totally missed most of the details:
Hurley brought a guitar (like charlie). Sayid was in handcuffs (like kate). There was a dead body on board (like christian). Most of the "key survivors" of the first crash were there. The numbers showed up several times (gate number, flight number, etc).

There were a lot of other details that could also be seen as homage to the first flight, as well. Remember - in LOST, there are no coincidences.

Thanks. I wondered how you got those spoiler box things.

And yes. I did miss most of the details. Thanks.

No prob, dude! That's what this forum is here for:thumbsup: - And I also miss a lot of details on the first watch through of these episodes.

I have a friend that I always watch with, but since she's busy a lot, I usually watch it once before that, and I also re-watch it with my girlfriend later, so I'm watchin' these things like 3 and 4 times...

Funny you should mention that.

My buddy and I have been close friends since we were starting grade school (I know, a friendship that survived for almost 20 years). We don't get to hang out much, because of our conflicting work schedules - but we ALWAYS make it a point to watch "Lost" together. (We're both fanatics)

I roll up, sit down, we get high, bullshit, smoke cigarettes and watch the repeat episode - then the new episode.

Every Wednesday.

When Season 5 ends, we're watching them all from Season 1 on again. I can't wait. Rewatching "Lost" fucking RULES because you always catch something you didn't see the first time around.

^ Hah, I'm the same with my HS bestie. We go halves on each box set.

Speaking of spoilers, has there been any word on which of the main characters is dying? People keep saying it's Desmond but I haven't seen any confirmation.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS LISTED BELOW!!!!!!!!!!! :

There's been a lot of talk - and plenty of theories about it, to boot. Me, personally, I believe it's either going to be Sayid or Sawyer.

When Sawyer shot Frank Duckett in Season 1 - we found out it was the wrong guy. ANY TIME SAWYER IS PRESENT for "the whispers" you can hear (if you listen closely) Frank Duckett's voice say "It'll come back around". So, perhaps - it WILL come back around - and Sawyer will end up shot, himself.

Possibly, Sayid - due to the sticky situation he is in? Who knows! God, "He's Our You" was such a fucking intense cliff-hanger episode.
