Basically it breaks a body of text down into individual words and flashes them at you one word at a time at a rate of 300 words per minute. You can adjust the speed and some other settings. I was really skeptical at first, but it not only lets me read faster, but it keeps me from getting distracted while reading.
I can get how some wouldn't like it, seeing as it can likely induce epileptic seizures or something, but I found it pretty cool for reading longer articles.
