How does that prove/disprove anything?

For those of you to smart to waste your time watching the vid (and rightly so): some sadistic, future-Ed-Gein-kid decides frogs need a Jesus and picks one to crucify.

I feel like that guy touched on an enlightening revelation.

If he was that wise as a kid imagine what hes like now.

It's not to prove/disprove anything it's just mocking the "genius" behind the crucifixion.

I mean, think about it.

Angel: Hey god, the people down on Earth are fucking up again. Should I issue the standard forgiveness as usual?

God: No, not this time. They've gone to far. Extra measures must be taken for their forgiveness.

Angel: But, you're god..you can just forgiv........

God: No! I will have a son from a virgin and then he will be crucified then they will be forgiven of their sins.

Angel: ....dude...that doesn't even make any fucking kind of sense.

God: Watch your mouth! It makes perfect sense. It's better for their race.

Actually i would say the crusifiction has more to do with the fact that many people (in israel and rome) were acting vicously rather than virtously; even towards this man called "jesus".

This was the dichotomy of jesus values; but even though the jews treated him like shit and he was rightous it would be considered sinful for him to retaliate against them.

The premise for the crusifiction is love; if you read into it.

I suggest you read the book of gethsmene (the discussions between jesus and god in the garden of gethsmene where jesus meditated and prayed the night before his crusifiction) if you are in any way serious about the crusifiction.

I dont know what your sources are but there is nothing in the bible and regarding jesus talking with god the night before the crusifiction; it is actually ommited and goes straight from "Oh lord; why have you cast this upon me" to "Oh lord; you are good and great i am ready to do your bidding" (paraphrase).

The inturlude between this is the book of gethsmene.

So it looks a bit like you have some false memory syndrome/ invented memory syndrome regarding this issue.

^^^ no, see, God wanted to prove that he was some hard shit, and nailing his own sinless son to a plank was the logical way to do it.

Crucifixes aren't a symbol of God's love, they're a warning, like heathens mount skulls on sticks. They remind you that this shit is serious, and if God wants he can hammer your ass to the tree or embrace you forever in forgiveness..

I think if you look at the old testament, nailing a guy to a tree was pretty much nothing compared to previous stunts. it wasn't about the show of power, the fact that jesus was there proves that. It was a show of love, an immortal being taking on the pain of mortality to save man. Makes it a good story. I still didn't like the video though, i didn't see the point of it.
