I saw today that facebook (when using the leet speak alternate language) features a "WTFBBQ" to refer to some link on the homepage... this must mean that facebook programmers have visited totse.

Well, totse was not in any way significant. Why would totse Menes get popular? Everyone that's aware of them is either here or doesn't care.

Alright now, you prove to me that some did. I tried googling totse memes, all I got was zoklet and pages about totse.

Jenkem was far more than one thread, and afaik OMGWTFBBQ didn't come from totse. Even if it did, it's use on facebook doesn't mean that the programmers ever visited totse. Why does that even need explanation?

There had been a small media report about it actually taking place in Africa somewhere, but it was on totse that it was made to appear as a new fad among American school kids.

I remember pickwicks first thread about it where he pointed out the report and was just curious, I posted that someone on totse should try it for the lulz. I still think he actually did it.
