I'm going to be away from a certain computer for a while, and I want to keep an eye on it.

Obviously I have full access to it, firewall exceptions etc, so remote installation etc won't be necessary.

All I want is a screenshot to be saved somewhere on the machine, and a keylogger if possible. Stored on the machine is fine, however emailed to me would be better.

Anyone suggest some apps? I have had VNC on the computer before, however had nothing but issues with it.

Machine:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Connection - always attached to router via Ethernet lead.

EDIT:
I have no idea what the hell happened to the thread title. It was originally "Monitoring a computer while I am away", something fucked up when I submitted, and now it's my username...

I fixed the thread title for you.

What I did was use Ardamax. Just add an exception to your AV so it doesn't delete it on you. There is an option to to take screen shots at any variable you want. Word of advice, DO NOT set it to take every 5 minutes. It'll fuck up for some odd reason.

Thanks for that man, I'll give it a trial within the week and post results.

5 mins? So 4 will be alright, as will 6?...very strange.

I should have specified, that 5 and anything under would fuck up. I had to up it to about 10-15 minutes.

I've never tried this software, but I've heard good things about Nagios.
