Id be more leaning towards horror/gore but also ones like vampire hunter d , neon geneisis an the like. Thanks in advance.

Have you seen Claymore? It's pretty gory, not so much horror but it has pretty dark imagery. The manga continues after the anime.

I can't think of many others, so I'll come back to this thread once I do

If you enjoy gore then you really shouldn't miss Gantz or Elfen Lied. The best part of these two Animes is that you they aren't just a pure gore fest at the expense of story as each features an amazing plot that will keep you hooked while the guts are flying.

DBZ was pretty good until somewhere around the Cell Games and even after that it had it's awesome moments. The way they stretched out the storyline could get so fucking annoying though.

Every time it started to get good you could always expect to hear "NEXT TIME ON DRAGONBALL Z!!"

Well, if you're watching that piece of shit american thing they call Dragon Ball, then it is indeed gay. Cowboy Bebop is good, but nothing is as epic as Dragon Ball.

A lot of people liked Dragon Ball, but I could never get into it. And then after DBZ came Dragon Ball GT. GT had it's moments of awesomeness but I'd pretty much given up on DBZ somewhere before the end of the Buu saga.

Also, Monster, it's more of a psychological thriller, but I think it's great.

no, accually... pen0r just sounds funnier when you think about it... plus if i was 12, i would like dragon ball a little more, but ill give you one thing i did watch the dragon ball on toonami(anyone remember that shit) so my guess is, like with most anime, its a lot better watching the origanal...
