I have mild allergies to stuff like pollen and horse hair (environmental stuff, no food allergies)...I was prescribed Zyrtec and Singulair, but I hate putting synthesized shit into my body, so I'm currently looking for some DIY allergy remedies. Any ideas?

Some people claim that honey (especially local honey) can accustom your body to local allergens, but this applies mostly to pollens. As for horse hair...stay away from stables and don't play the violin?

Honestly there's not much DIY for all that, unless you want to make air filters or something.

Diphenhydramine has always served me well for allergies.

I think that claim may be correct.

I can vouch for the honey thing. I have a little bit every day, especially with summer fast approaching.
