Do people ever fall back in love, with the same person?

Yeah I'm talking about the real special tingly feeling in love here.

If say you fall in love with someone, it turns into a relationship and the tingly in love shit just turns into regular love. You then break up, not because you're not in love, beut because it wasn't working out or whatever.

Does it ever occur, that people meet this same person again, like say a few years later, and just fall in love again?

I know people get back together all the time but I'm wondering if that's just cos of all the old emotions involved, your old dreams of spending your life with that person etc., or do people genuinely fall in love again?

Sorry if this is a stupid post, I'm ignorant and looking to learn.

No i agree with you.
My Dad always said that people change.
Its unstoppable.
So lets say you broke up for i don't know, religious reasons? , and because of general change you got back together at a later date.

its often the situation people are in that makes them break up.
If you looked at the adulterous population as a whole its probably fairly small.
And often it takes time to know yourself and realise what you want from a relationship and even life.

Therefore the person you though wasnt for you may be your ultimate partner when you views have changed.
thats how i view it.

So yep i believe its possible.

Happens all of the time. I regret breaking up with my ex. Unfortunately I fucked it up bad and he has a new girlfriend now. :(

yep it's happened to me with my ex. Unfortunately i went on a 5 month drug binge and now she wont talk to me because of it

Yeah, I would say so. My ex and I fell for each other too fast, broke up and all the once loving feelings I had for him turned to bitterness and resentment. We got back in contact about a year later, and it was better than the first go around. Stability doesn't mean shit in a relationship.
