Okay - this is a toughie. I have a few favorites, for a few reasons:

Hurley: the numbers, dude. The numbers.

Sawyer: the anti-Jack of the island, and one of several BAMFs (Bad Ass Mother Fucker, ala Dane Cook)

Said: the unofficial leader of the pack when if comes to being a BAMF, though with more trained badassery

Who is your favorite?

Artz? :D

I think Hurley would be fun to just chill with and talk to.

I like sawyer because he just doesn't care about a lot of the things he should (even some of his friends). To me, that is complete freedom. He has no responsibilities whatsoever. Though he may have just traded his responsibilities for regret and inner torment.

Said is cool because he's very straight forward and thinks analytically and logically. He's clever and precise. I also like his very modest attitude.

(This part may contain spoilers from season 3) On the other hand, Locke is one baddass mother fucker. I liked him in the first two seasons mostly because he was independent, he was doing what I would have been doing on the island: Not complaining, learning to live there, and killing wild boar :D - I would have seen it as an opportunity to better myself, and I think this is just what Locke did. In season 3 however, he seems to have become a lot more reckless. He takes risks at the expense of others and seems to be doing so with a new motivation. He is no longer doing things for the safety of the survivors of the plane crash, he's doing things for himself and for the island. The last episode of season 3 was slightly redeeming, though. I would like to see some of the "Sit down and explain shit" episodes of season 4 to see what his motivations have been and what has become of him (we didn't see much of him at all in season 3, now that I think about it). Then I think I'll know how I officially stand on Locke.

I'm really having some trouble deciding here...

All the characters have things I like about them and things I don't.

Earlier I would've said Locke, but now he's just kind making me frustrated.

Said is pretty fucking cool... that might be my answer. Especially (spoiler) his leg move in the finale.

YEAH. that was some Solid Snake shit there.

"see that guy?"
"yeah"
"sneak up behind him and press square"
"...okay...now what?"
"keep pressing square."
"okay...I don't see what this is doi...SWEET!":D

Ok..

Sayid (I think that's how it's spelled, vaguely remember it in subtitles somewhere spelled like that).. Awesome dude, he never bitches about shit, he just does it, despite like, bigtime heavy past.. Plus, he still has a heart.. He'd be great to date, because, well, you know he'd take really good care of you, and be all sweet to you, but if anyone fucked you over he'd go kill them or torture them or something.

Sawyer, because he's fucking hot. Bad boys ftw. He too still has a heart, despite his 'cold and ruthless act"

Charlie at times, but he can be a bit annoying..

I liked Anna Lucia, too.

Jack irritates me, he's too slow.. and tries to be too noble and selfless, but gets all tore up about it at the same time.

I'd have bitchslapped some of those people ages ago, if I was jack, though.

Ooh, I just remembered. Desmond. Totally awesome.

Actually...you are right on the spelling (and the other points). I've been spelling it "Said," based on a guy I knew who spelled his own name that way, but "Sayid" is much less confusing for quoting dialogue (Said said that...)

On a side note, Firefox wants me to re-spell "dialogue" as "Dialog." I like my spelling better..much more Shakespearean.
