Currently I only have my Canon Powershot A470 - a P&S.
I just broke my dSLR. I was taking some photos up close of some fish in a waterfall/pond thing, and some fat bitches kids came running up and pushed me into the water, along with my camera.
Saving for a Nikon D40 now.

I confronted her about it, and ended up calling the cops. But they wouldn't do anything about it cause the kids were about 4-6 years old.

I have a Sony a300. I noticed no-one with an DSLR went for sony, any reason why?
I thought it was a much better option than the other 3 in similar price bracket - namely the Nikon D60, Canon 1000D and Olympus E-420.

Nikon 5700. Dirt cheap and actually produces some very decent photos as long as you keep the ISO down.

Right now a Nikon FM-10. Manual everything. It's the most no-frills camera I've seen.
I think I want to get back in to photography so I'm planning out a DSLR purchase, most likely another Nikon, maybe a D60. I wish they made more stripped down digital cameras, I would rather save some money and not have some of these features I don't need.

started photography on a powershot that i got for my 14th birthday. From that I upgraded to a DSLR the rebel xti. Then I took a class on film and needed a 35mm manual camera, which my father owned, so i used that. He doesent use it anymore so i just use it .
