Who here has read any? If so which ones, what are your opinions?

Ive read 12 of them so far(16 in all), and his biography.Last time befre this i picked up a book was about 4 years ago n before that maybe in 1st grade .They were all pretty good books, primarily becuase there isnt any faggy "happy endings" .

Read a few of 'em as a kid. Remember "Eldorado Red" mostly since I wanted to make it into a film. It's my understanding that DMX owns rights for a few of his titles and was in AZ to do at least one of them before he fucked up. Someone on the set of "Freedomland" (shot in DMX's old neighbourhood) hipped me to this.

oh you from yonkers? you kno dmx? i know theres crime partners and never die alone out on film, i read a dmx quote in DG biograpy that confirms he wants to make more of them to film, but him being in jail and the rumor he might get 8 years for attacking a c.o. dont see anything happening anytime soon. Not from Yonkers; "Freedomland" was filmed in the projects there. What I heard on set there (note it's hearsay) was that DMX had rights to a few of the novels, but went crack crazy and started fucking up. Heard production on one (presumably Goines' adaption) film was aborted due to X's crack abuse.
