Yeah it's this totally antisocial issue I have with the phrase "they're laughing with you, not at you". I mean, if you're a comedian and saying a funny joke, people are still laughing at you. Just because someones laughing at you doesn't mean you're being degraded or ridiculed - though if often does.

The phrase is just incorrect. Also people that laugh too much at their own jokes are lame - except Billy Connolly.
