Omar, it's Omar, yo! *runs away*
Love that show. Bunk was awesome. The lie detector scene in season 5 was hilarious!
This is the program that plunked Oz out of my number one spot of all my favourite TV shows.
god damn i love this show i watched all 5 seasons in a month. bodie was my favorite character followed by omar(most bad ass faggot ever). man i was so mad when both of them died bodie went out like a g and omar got popped by a lil kid?wtf?. i always hated marlo and his crew tho wee-bay would have merked snoop and chris. the best scene was the bullet proof couch tho when omar went up in the apartment and hid behind a couch while like 3 ppl unloaded clips into it. i also really liked the second season always makes me wonder whats in thos shipping containers. and i loved when slim shot cheese in the dome.

Such a great show. I like the fact it doesn't know what the solution is, and admits it -- no preachy bullshit like in so many other crime dramas and shows/movies with similar subject matter.
2nd season with the dockworkers was my favorite, although the 3rd season is close for the Hamsterdam episodes.
Gotta love Omar.

The show was so well done, one forgot or didn't notice how dark and bleak it was.
My faves were the buttoned-down gunman, and Omar.

I do not fall alone! Think I'm gonna be the scapegoat for the whole damn machine? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit!
I fucking love The Wire, it's maybe the best American T.V. show that i've seen, the plot's just so fucking enthralling, with the way they link together so many characters and stories. It just has such an edge...
Seems kinda unknown amongst many, too... in the U.K at least it's shown on a fairly obscure cable channel, but has a bit of a cult following. Great stuff.
Yeah, amazing show. Avon and Stringer (Stringer in particular) have got to be the smartest, most badass criminals in TV and movie history. The crazy thing is that the show's plotlines are all based on the experiences of actual cops. They had considered doing a Season 6 about the growing problem with hispanic criminals, but they decided not to since they couldn't bring the same authenticity to it.
