I wish AM has reappeared. But sadly no.

I started talking to our host site and I was able to prove to their satisfaction that I not only have Admin rights here, but that I must indeed know AM, if I could supply his real name and town and state where he lived. SO yes, they have let me select a new FTP password.

But I had troubles doing it ad so the host server banned me. Ain't that a hoot? I am only here now because I'm on a proxy. It's like totse all over again. Lol.

It's destined to fail without quality members. Just post here and if you don't like it, piss off. As you can see above, Meta's has failed hardcore.

Just to clarify this, acidmelt has disappeared off the face of the earth suddenly, taking The Damage Done's FTP password and control panel access with him. Metaphysicist was forced, after waiting over a month for acidmelt's return, to contact the hosting company and try and get the account information. He did succeed finally in getting the site-administrator logins, but while trying to use it, inadvertently used the wrong login format, and so his IP was locked out of the server, due to failed retry attempts. He has now gained access again to the site administrator account, and his IP can access the server OK. Currently, he is waiting for member input before setting the forum titles and color-scheme permanently. Acidmelt is still on the loose... out there... somewhere. Hide your children and infants.

Just out of morbid curiosity, is the fact that Acidmelt took a sudden and unexpected powder a suprise to either yourself or Meta? If so.....why?

The reason I ask, is because after witnessing past precedent over at Totse where Acidmelt disappeared for MONTHS AND MONTHS at a time......why would you expect any different from him? Especially considering now it is "his" site and he has even more of a reason to have a "fuck everyone else but me" mindset. And this wasn't just once, but a multitude of times.

I just don't get it. Yourself and Meta have more intelligence than this....why would you expect a proven irresponsible dolt to be anything more than an irresponsible dolt?

BTW, I have lurked over there a couple of times and see Meta is STILL whining/butthurt about me. Tell him I appreciate the laughs that he still provides me to this day. :thumbsup:

It was absolutely no surprise to me. In fact, I had have argued with Meta a few times just recently over his proven incompetence and general flakiness. It seems Meta and him are friends in real, so he has ... uhhh... come to a crossroads about it. I was never lost to begin with.

So in true Meta fashion he completely ignores common sense and the facts staring him right in the face......and allows bias and friendships rule the day. Yup, sounds like a recipe for disaster over at good ole TDD to me.

Now when are you going to finally get that Meta himself isn't nearly as stable or wise as you portray? Granted, you and him (and myself too) agree that kidiotic shit-droppers aren't what makes up a "quality" forum......but beyond that I still don't see him having enough OBJECTIVE wisdom within himself to make any forum a "success" while he is such a focal point in it.

Meta left Zoklet because he was of the opinion that people had too much freedom here and went to create a website together with acidmelt where they would apply the zero tolerance rules against "hbtards".

However, I have not once heard anything from acidmelt about this. Considering the fact that I am an "hbtard" and the fact that as far as I can see, acidmelt hasn't got a damn thing to do with "the damage done", I stopped posting there.

Also, it's a gay name.

And besides, everyone has an Internet forum. I have mine where I can talk to my self on it all day long. Why would I talk to myself on someone's else's forum?
