Yeah, he just came to Pittsburgh to play at the Carnegie Music Hall.

I was pretty impressed - the guy is what? In his late 40's? It was just him and a guitar and he really kicked ass. He's still able to belt out some of the harder notes - and, he preserved a lot of his really impressive range.

He played everything from Soundgarden to Temple of the Dog, to Audioslave, to his solo work - and he did a really fucking awesome job of it, too.

I never got a chance to see Alice In Chains, Soundgarden or Pearl Jam live - so, this was a big thing for me. It was a great concert. I thought he would be washed up - but, he delivered big time.

I wanted to see it at the XL Center when he came around in mid November, sadly I forgot/nobody wanted to go.

That's a shame, man. But, really, I wouldn't get too bummed out. He'll come around again.

Like I said, I was really, really impressed. I mean, no one is expecting you to sing and sound the same as you did when you were 22 years old. But, he came damn close to it. He's really kept his voice well.
